Amiibos aren't the focus for SSB, never have been. Also there are many cross over Nintendo titles, i dont get how that has anything to do with amiibo made game.
Amiibo game doesn't have to be Ahuge SSB cross over game. It could be a pokemon game or a super mario line game for example.
