The 3DS has according to vgchartz over 600k stock in Japan as of the end of Jan 3rd. Worldwide the system is only 300k behind its shipment numbers though, I guess it's not hard to see how that doesn't work out well.
The X1 is more difficult to prove, but it does seem pretty unrealistic that the X1 would drop less than the PS4 with its price going back up. in the US, EU numbers don't sit right with me as well, too close to the PS4.
PS4 numbers are lower than 2008 PS3 numbers for the same week, so there's that for one, the PS4 has just come out of a holiday season that has been significantly stronger than the PS3s 2007, so I don't think I have to explain why it's jarring to see the PS4 have such a sharp drop suddenly.
