Microsoft Best: They have a simple & clean interface that makes it easy to navigate everything. Plus, Inlike their money...it can pay for things to improve XBox

Microsoft Needs to Improve: Lack of 1st party games. It's great that they are able to pay for exclusives but I'd like to see them create more of their own games. Acquire more developers.

Sony Best: They are the best at creating new IP's without a doubt. They are comfortable giving original IP's a chance & give their developers the most freedom

Sony Needs to IImprove: The interface of the consoles need to improve. The PS4 looks pretty mediocre at the menu screen. Just a straight line with little order

Nintendo Best: They are still pushing local multiplayer more than anyone else. Mario Kart & Smash Bros alone are nearly worth the price of admission.

Nintendo Needs to Improve: They need to stop trying to innovate for the sole purpose of standing out. The duel screens and Wii Remote were one thing but 3D & Gamepad takes things too far. So far, neither add much to the experience but both raise the cost. Not cool Nintendo
