Well I'll make my more on topic comments a seperate post.
I don't know if surge is the correct term here. Increase definitely, but is a 20% increase really a surge? The DS increased 16% and the Wii 73% from March to April. Perhaps it could be considered a surge but then the DS surged last April (not to mention February). In that case then just the last 3 months would show a 20% increase, even if a surge, is nothing spetacular.
I don't mean to sound critical, it is certainly good for the PSP and Sony. However, if Wii fanboys are supposedly premature in declaring a golden Wii-centric future after 7 months of historic sales then I think a moderate bump 3 years in is most definitely nothing to get excited about.
