and PSP was the only consol that got a price drop....

Wii is supply constrained.

Yeah, obviously the PSP got a price drop, but people on here had been saying that the PSP had been on a sales decline despite the price drop - which, as you can see, is not true at all. It's been on an upswing for the last three months.

Yeah it's the PSP price drop in effect. And keep in mind also that March was a five week period while April and May were both 4 week ones. May sales continue the trend of this year handily beating last year as far as hardware and software sales. 2007 is going to be a record breaking year for the video game industry despite 360 and PS3 sales dissapointing.

On a worldwide basis, it still looks to be tracking a bit lower from the previous year. Also, the sales seem to be a lot less steady.

Its called new price and new demographics buying into the machine .

Just going off the week to week data on this site in the U.S. and Others regions you have seen declines in sales every week I checked from the week ending May 13th until June 10th the Japanese market is a little different but basically you went from about 35k before FF The Lion War was released to 27k now an overall decrease in sales. If your looking at since the price drop in April the first week numbers in the U.S were 50k and are now at 35k in the Others regions they were 52k and now are about the same 52k and in Japan you went from 40k to about 27k today. I'm with robjoh though haven't really noticed all that much on the PSP besides referances to how it is selling to the DS every once in a while but looking at those numbers I can see how some people in certain instances might mention a decrease in sales recently.
