Even 2016 is pushing it. 3.1m people just bought a Wii U in 2014, a new console so soon would really hurt consumer confidence, which is something Nintendo has in spades right now. If I had to take a wild guess, I'd put a 2017 release for their next console. I must admit though, this would make for a great launch title and that is something that Nintendo has dropped the ball on since the N64 days. |
I was thinking the same thing actually, launch title for their next system in possibly 2017. eh, could happen. :D
Hopefully for the sake of Wii U owners it comes to their console.
