Ha! You didn't understand what I was trying to say. I was trying to convey the fact that for Nintendo, the $40 pricetag is correct. As you stated earlier, you believed that no matter what the price, the game wasn't going to sell well. That is why Nintendo is pricing it at $40 instead of $20. It would be better to sell 500,000 copies at $40 then 750,000 at $20. If they thought the game would sell 1,500,000 copies at $20, then maybe they would sell it at that price. These numbers are obviously just bogus. Anyway, they are trying to maximize profit, so in their eyes, $40 is not too high.
I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.
