Well, if you can alter reality to a place where Wii did not exist, then of course XBox has lost market share :). Thankfully neither you or me can do that, but I am guessing Wii dissapeared in order for your argument to make any sense :).
OT: In some ways, all consoles can be regarded as failures, but it is almost always subjective. In terms of development of the console business, this generation in regards to PS4 and X1 is a complete failure since it doesn´t feel like an evolved business at all. In that regard, WiiU is the success since it is actually trying different ideas. Sales wise, WiiU is a failure, while PS4 and X1 are quite succesful so far. As a total, this generation will shrink massively from the last, making it a failure as a whole.
