It looks great, and it was neat trying out the different styles of kills the first few times, but I thought it got boring about half-way through (which is about 2 hours in). I am not the biggest fan of beat-em-up or hack'n'slash type games though, so perhaps I am not the best judge. (No More Heroes I liked though, and thought it got better and better as the game went on) |
Amen to this. It was lauded for its mature style and visual aesthetic. 5 minutes into the game I knew I had the most linear bore-gore fest of the generation in my Wii. Popped it out and never looked back. Definite example of style vs substance.
