It depends what you mean by break even. We are already bringing in enough with banners to cover basic server costs and so on but obviously we are looking to expand and turn this into a business. I'd like to take people on full time to take the workload off myself and develop and manage new features and so on.

So we're not in danger of going anywhere but the more we grow and the more we try to do the more costly things will become (same is true of expanding our data sources).

My primary vision for the store though is to use it to help with some of our figures. As I've said before, if we could build the store up to a more representitive sample then it will certainly be useful for compiling our figures - more data is always better as long as you use it properly and understand where it comes from / how representitive it is / what marketshare you are looking at. Definitely a way into the future but if we were doing, say, a thousand games a week I think the trends would start to become pretty useful and representitive.

Oke, those are definitely different type of costs you're talking about, I was mainly talking about your current costs, but I understand you'll need to raise a lot more money in the future to turn it into a professional business. Do you want to become a real competitor to the likes of NPD and GFK some day, possibly tracking all kind of consumer goods, or do you have no plan to go beyond video game sales?
