I don't know about amiibo, but I bet she will be the next Smash DLC.

I will be shocked if Nintendo does not use Ika Musume to advertise Splatoon in Japan.

I'm sure Nintendo and Shonen are working on it as we speak. This can help Splatoon sales in Japan (and in the west if they decide to bring it). XD
