I agree. I'm cool with new things as long as they aren't too pricey. They also need to use the features well. As of now, I don't think either was needed to enhance games.
Honestly, for now, I like the touchpad on the Duelshock 4 more than the Gamepad. The touchpad didn't add much to the price but I like the feature. Is it a must have? No. Again, it's nice to have esspecially since it doesn't make the controller to expensive.
all in all, it should have been like Kinect or the Balance Board, optional.
