Alot of people seem to think that if the Wii U dropped its price by $50 or more that people would be flocking to stores, begging for WIi U's. This is pue fantasy. The Wii U lacks software that appeals to the masses. Period. Casual gamers look at the Xbox 1 and PS4 and see significant titles released monthly, where the Wii U has months and months without notable software. Casual gamers see COD/Battlefield/Assassin's Creed/FIFA/Destiny/Far Cry 4 popular multiplatform title on Xbox 1 and PS4 but see that they are noticeably absent on the WIi U. Casual gamers see appealing mature IP like The Evil Within, Alien Isolation, Sunset Overdrive, Infamous Second Son etc coming to PS4 and X1 monthly, but mainly see overly cute titles containing Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach and Toad on the Wii U. This is a serious problem that is now intrinsic in the Nintendo brand because they lost proper 3rd party support after the SNES and they are far too conservative to even attempt anything daring and even slightly mature....
