But it's concept is mainly from infamous. A guy gets powers and uses them however the player wants in a city/sandbox open world. It's Microsoft's counter to infamous. Nothing wrong with that being the case. It will probably remain exclusive to MS.

Microsoft had that same concept and setting in Crackdown two years before Infamous came out. I guess this makes Infamous Sony's answer to Crackdown?

Crackdown? I don't know it. I looked it up on here and on youtube. It's more of straight up 3rd person shooter than a third person action game about a guy with powers. It's gunplay, targetting and overall look is more similar to prototype. Infamous has nothing really in common with it except there were powers and being set in a open world sandbox. Everything else is different. Sony didn't really need a answer to that series. It's sales weren't that good.

There's not much similar between Sunset and Infamous either, especially gameplay wise. Even with a similar setting and genre, the gameplay is radically different.
And I don't think Microsoft really needs an answer for Infamous, either. There are loads of good open world games on the market. |
Hmm. At this point, MS needs an answer to any of sony's 1st party games and franchises. It didn't really have one for infamous. There's plenty of differences between those two games but there's enough similarities to compare them fairly and say that SO is MS's answer to infamous. There's a lot of people all over the net saying that SO is a copy of infamous. There's definitely a consensus forming on it.
