We've yet to see installments in many franchises that typically have at least 1 home console release per generation, like Metroid, Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, any Mario sports game, Pokemon spinoffs, etc. It's also a possibility for us to see entries in series like Kid Icarus, Eternal Darkness, WaveRace/F-Zero (both unlikely, but who knows?), etc. or new IPs. The Wii U still has a lot of untapped potential, and I think Nintendo knows that. |
You're probably right, Nintendo will continue support in 2016. The system is still $300 after all, between price cuts and sales, a lot of potential is left. More importantly, the Wii U still has some juice left from a quality gaming standpoint
