How could I forget that HH's and casual games don't count? I guess, AC loses on both fronts 
Animal Crossing sells much more on HH's and even City Folk outsold Skyward Sword so based on sales Animal Crossing is in fact bigger now.
Zelda probably has a more dedicated base worldwide that will buy a system just for that next game though. I'll give you that.
