Last FE game was 2012 in Japan, so that would be 2-3 years?

They haven't released any real sized games since 2013.

Doesn't necessarily mean they worked on it since 2012-2013, though.  Even if they have, there's still the gap in localization time and the fact that we don't know its release date for any region.
