Yet they still make €3.000.000 a day or something if I remember correctly, so obviously a lot of people are spending money on it. That, or it all comes from ad revenue? :p 

Do you have a link to that? Best I can find is that they made over $1B in revenue, but that was from almost a year ago. The game isn't at the same level as it once was, even though it's still fun to play. The estimated $2M-$3.75Mdaily revenue is also from a 2013 source.

Of course the game still makes money, just like the game I play which is Brave Frontier. Even if current content does not require them, the heavy spenders will always pay whatever is necessary to "catch em' all".

Those are the wonderful people who keep these games alive for the rest of us.
