I don't think they care about these boosts right now. They've made it clear that the holiday period is when they become aggressive, so they're just going to ride this out.

They have to do something extra in the next ten months.  I can't imagine the console being $400 going into November again.  Software wise they have nothing exclusive until September with QB, and marketing deals with Evolve and The Witcher, which I don't believe are system movers.
