Wait now I'm confused. What I meant to say was that I wouldn't really care if PS or Xbox exclusives were available everywhere.

Oh okay, I thought you responded to my first line cause thats where I said "you don't really care" and etc

But I don't really get why you responded to:

"Thats probably cause we get a thread about Nintendo going third party at least once or twice a month but we rarely get a thread about Sony or Microsoft going third party and of course, if we are going to talk about games being avaliable on every platform, than people should include that both Sony and Microsoft First party should also be avaliable in every platform including PC"

With

"Again: The whole industry is making money on the Playstation and Xbox, on the other hand only Nintendo is making money on the Wii U (3DS is another case, but with the shrinking dedicated handheld market I wouldn't be surprised if the situation there becomes similar to the Wii U situation) that is the crucial difference."

Cause the industry making money on PS/Xbox has almost nothing to do with people not making threads about Sony/Microsoft going third party vs Nintendo since the industry is making money on PC. So I am a bit confused as to why the Industry making money prevent people from making "Sony/Microsoft" going third party threads since the industry money topic is not really even touched up on the Nintendo going third party threads

OK, first I hope that we're on the same page that "going third party" means getting out of the hardware business, not just releasing your first party games everywhere.

If we're clear on that then I think that it's not that hard to understand, sure the industry is also making money on the PC, but there are still (tens of) millions of people that do not want to game on PC and instead go for a console and that's why I'm saying that there is less of a reason to call for MS or Sony to go third party (until the whole industry moves towards a streaming model) because all of these people now buying Xboxs/PSs, not for their exclusives but simply because they aren't interested in gaming on a PC, would possibly turn away from gaming if there were no consoles anymore, which would strip away huge revenue streams for all publishers.

Hope that somewhat clears this up.
