Sony at least has been trying.

They full localize for Brazilian-Portuguese and, in fact, the PS4 is not that expencive if you look at past generation games. R$4.000 is even less than the Xbox 360 inicial price here if you count inflation over the periode.



ps3 launched in grey market for over 6.000,00 at the time and hold that price for like 1 year. When ps2 got down to 200,00 dollars in USA I paid 1000,00 reais in grey market, and dollar wasn't that high at the time. Things are a lot better now.
