The top 5 Mario games sell more than the entire GTA franchise.

Since gta first existed Mario sold way less.  Gta more relevant now 

Since GTA first existed just excludes Super Mario Bros out of the top 5. Top 8 Mario games released after GTA outsell the entire franchise.

Exactly. Lets compare console versions, since this is about consoles... not handhelds. Get back to me on that.
