Really? I don't think I've seen anything like that. If anything having a struggling console is more likely to make Nintendo fans rally together, so to speak. Compare a band that finds major commercial success with albums that lots of hardcore fans consider "sellouts" (the Wii) to a more underappreciated band that, while people may not be happy with every decision they make, at least can find common ground in still liking them or believing in their potential and wanting them to be successful.
