So when talking Japanese gamers upgrading to next gen, it is obvious that most have choosen Nintendo, but also buy PS3 games as it has had about 8 years to build up an install base there, while Wii U and 3DS only had 2-3

There simply aren't that many interesting PS4 games in Japan yet. I expect PS4 to overtake Wii U in games in 2015. (MGS V, DQ Heroes, FF T-0 with FFXV Demo > Zelda U, Starfox U, Splatoon, XC X)
