Pikmin had its chance and has more or less failed more times than it should. Same thing they said about Fzero.

Maybe a pikmin 3DS game. But leave it off wiiu and wii u 2.

Pikmin failed only a system seller, the previous games sold well and Pikmin 3 did ok considering the userbase. 

Pikmin 2 sold 1.2 million, Pikmin 3 is only 340k off that even with we don't count digital. 

That's just the kind of franchise it is, a medium sized one.
