| NathanVS said: Okay you want an ambitious game, but if its too niche it's not good enough? You are extremely hard to please then. I feel very sorry for Retro. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. ''neither are proof at all that there's no market for a "darker" game on Wii U.'' Yes there is. Not a lot of people bought them. You are contradicting yourself. I've given examples of both mainstream and niche appeal of dark games that didn't sell well, but that isn't good enough. Metroid is as niche as it comes. People demanded for Bayonetta 2 as well. Let this comparison sink in. Bayonetta 2 was exclusive to Wii U, they should have attracted them by then. But despite the uniqueness of this series, it is too niche to be considered? That is fail logic. ''no demand for more Kart racers on Wii U. It's not a genre that supports an abundance of games.'' An ambitious undertaking. Perfect for Retro. I'm just wasting my time here. Good luck with having your ambitious game from Retro that may or may not be good enough for you because it will be more than likely be too niche like Metroid. Goodbye. |
Again, you keep talking like this is about what I want. It isn't. It's about business. And you're projecting; I never said I wanted Metroid.
There are very obvious reasons why COD and ZombiU didn't sell great on Wii U. Reasons that do not apply to all darker games. I have not contradicted myself.
