The overtrackment is unfortunate but honestly mistakes like this are to be expected in the holidays with vgchartz tracking. That being said, what do they consider the holiday season? November and December?

From Japanese article:

 1. Japan and Asia January 4, 2015 from November 24, 2014, North America, Latin America, Europe until January 3, 2015 from November 23, 2014.

So, the last 6 weeks of the year

Ah ok thanks, so I'm assuming it's not that much overtracked in that time period.

Quite a bit though, maybe ~600-700k
