Yep, Sony fought back efficiently in UK and it's definitely paying out for them! I see it as the winning console in UK this gen but the difference won't be as big as 360 to PS3.

That's still not confirmation that the PS4 outsold the XB1 though. I believe it probably did but he seems to be just stating the install base is larger rather than it won this week.

It had an advantage to begin with and most probably, even X1 won a few weeks, that wasn't enough to overtake the PS4 in total. PS4 also had amazing deals as Xbone so what helped Xbone in US didn't happen in UK because Sony fought way better here as it seems.

That is because the UK is part of Europe and Sony always does well in Europe although UK seems a bit like a split market for some reason. It did help the Xone but not enough and Sony will soon secure the UK with the order and bloodborne.
