| Razeak said: I'm not at all surprised Nintendo didn't make a Skylanders type game. It's a shame really. I would like to see a nintendo take on the Skylanders style of adventure/action game using Amiibos. I think having a mii for standard play is a good start as well as a pack in character or two. It definitely needs to be robust to counter Skylanders quality and depth. |
Didn't even think of the Mii character. Excellent suggestion.
For a F2P mobile app that would be a fantastic start, to give users a taste of the game. Of course just like Skylanders have specific areas locked out unless opened by specific elements (each character would have a set element), that way if people DO like the game they would be more likely to begin purchasing figurines. Locked out areas of course will not prevent progression in the game. It would only prohibit unlocking new special abilities for Amiibo characters and/or armors and accessories.
There is a lot they can do with the Nintendo franchises in terms of storyline.
I would like to really see this type of game, but sadly I am almost 100% certain it will not happen, and if it does they will make the mistake of mandating it to just their Nintendo branded consoles, thus greatly stunting their growth potential.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
