idk if you're speaking in reference to my post, but its previous rank was 7000 something...

So that's not actually the percentage preorderes have increased, but the percentage its rank has increased from yesterday? 

 

By the looks of it, it is only the rank change... for all we know, it could have sold just 100 copies to take the top spot.  I would like to know the % in sales increase rather then the rank increase.

 I thought it was % numbers and yes if it sold 100 and increased 781,100% yes it would mean 781,100 units... but as it is rank, there's no telling what-so-ever.
