Actually though, contrary to what you hope, I would like to present a little anecdotal evidence.
My mom, nurse practioner, came in the house today talking about Wii Fit. She heard Good Morning America on the radio and said the women were raving about it. She's not a Video Game person.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that show by itself just sold a million copies.
...and even if this doesn't "prove" anything, I'd bet my house, it's indicative of the effect of GMA on Wii Fit sales, from a single mainstream television show.
That's the power of the blue ocean marketing strategy, imo. This is gonna be big. BIG. I bet my house Wii-Fit is gonna sell gangbusters. It's just unbelievable the hype this thing is gonna pull down. I hope Nintendo increases Wii production, cause, once again. BIG. I don't even plan on getting it, and I realize that.
