A little bit! 
. My Game during Holidays had a lot more Wii U shelf space. Now it decreased by 2(but only because some of the Sonic Boom's, Smash and C.Toads sold out!) , and 3DS shelf space and on-the-shelf game library increased in quantity of different games and quantity of boxes overall.
But the amiibo situation is STILL horrible. Right at the front of till, only a couple characters, and not many of the ones they have.
While the Skylanders/Disney Infinity have about 5 shelves (those hanging things to fit more) each in the middle of the store.
