One defining point is that the PS2 is still fully functional even to this day. All games can be played and both the system and games are extremely cheap. Unfortunately with how the PS4 is set up being tied to the PS4 PSN servers, they system is really only fully usable while those servers are up. So unless the PS4 sells as much as the PS2 before it's successor comes out, perhaps another year after that or so, I don't think it will continue to sell like the PS2 has/did. It is possible though. 



Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
