From Yacht Club Games thmselves: For those who don’t know, each version is definitely worth picking up! The Wii U comes with Miiverse support through the Digger’s Diary, Off-TV Play with the GamePad, and supports the Wii U Pro Controller, Wii Remote, Wii Remote + Nunchuck, Wii Classic Controller, and Wii Classic Controller Pro. Oh boy that’s a lot of input options! The 3DS version has eye-popping stereoscopic 3D, the StreetPass Battle Arena, and Play Coin support. Having Shovel Knight on the go or on your huge TV at home both provide an amazing experience... |
Thank you for posting that. The bolded sentence is the only unique aspect of the 3DS version that I care about. Sounds like Battle Arena is supposed to be coming to all versions of the game, which puts me back squarely on the fence. Hrrumph.
