I was kind of niche game to begin with. Not many people expected it to sell all that much.

Its not about whether its niche or not. Its just that Insomniacs type of games grew to fame on Sony platforms. Its mostly Sony fans who know and appreciate their pedigree even though they were always a second tier Sony second party game partner.
