PS4 is still above PS2 sales, so, the MAX for PS4 is above PS2 sales lifetime!

PS4 sales are undertracked, it will probabily sell 16.5M-17M in 2014 (PS2 sold "only" 16M first year, and the Wii 16.5M).

2013: 4.5M

2014: 17.5M

2015: 24M

2016: 23M

2017: 21M

2020: 10M (PS5 release)

2021-2025: other 40-50M

 

That IS NOT my prediction, but is the best case scenario.

Another 40m to 50m from 2021 to 2025.  It is your best case scenario, so it is your best case scenario prediction.  Its actually impossible imo.

 

But seeing as you are in a mood to provide numbers can you break down the lifetime totals per region (pezus doesnt want to)

Japan: Xm

NA: Xm

Europe: Xm

Others: Xm

PS2 how much have sold after PS3 released?

42M... so, best scenario for PS4 is +42M after PS5 released.

NA: 65M (53M PS2)

EU: 75M (55M PS2)

Jap: 7M (23M PS2)

Other: 30M (25M PS2)
