This is basically it really... The install base is much to small for a developer/publisher to risk throwing millions of dollars and thousands of hours developing a AAA game on the Vita that uses the excellent hardware... That's why all we get now are ports/indies. Even before, we were getting half-baked versions of Assassin's Creed/COD etc which were probably made during the development teams lunch breaks :P Sony really did give it a good shot with Uncharted GA, Killzone, Wipeout, Tearaway, Gravity Rush etc but much like the Wii U, third party titles are also needed. Such a shame because the Vita is a beautifully constructed and the hardware is amazing....
