Plays much better than it looks. Plus, the Z Trigger was like an L2 button.

I have a Super pad 64 also and I don't think it is a good controller at all. The D-pad is much too large and prohibits fine movement like quarter-circle motions(no real good fighting games on N64 anyway but still. The Z trigger does not feel solid at all and is meant to be used with the middle finger which feels very awkward. The analog stick is ok but don't expect precision from it. The B, A and C button however are much improved and the C buttons are larger and more solid and are positioned in line with the B and A buttons much like the 6 button Genesis controller and the L and R buttons have a nice feel to them. The Hori pad absolutely smokes the SuperPad/Makopad(except the terrible positioning of the D pad...)
