I've actually been putting money into a 401k for years but did not really pay any attention to it until this year. I borrowed from it last year to cover my down payment on the house and thanks to paying attention and moving around funds I have more than I did before I took out the 401k loan. This is what I mean when I say I made $4,500, as I am $4,500 OVER where I was last year.
