I'm a lot more open to trying out each title, as long as it doesn't have a horrible reputation (*cough* Sonic Boom *cough*). So I definitely consider myself a more involved Nintendo fan now.

There's variety on Xbox and PlayStation, but you need to look for it. I think Steam it's pretty much the adequate platform to introduce yourself to other genres and get satisfying experiences from smaller games rather than the typical AAA title.
