Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, The Elder Scrolls, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Grand Theft Auto, Madden, FIFA, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tekken, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, Minecraft, Tomb Raider, etc. All on one console. Agreed. But it would take more than games. You'd also have to put NOA in charge and let them design the machine and be in control of ALL PR everywhere outside of Japan. This is how Sony has managed to do so well with home consoles. They always have known how to sell to the West.
If Nintendo went that rout AND got all the GTAs and CODs and had a robust online feature set? I don't see why they wouldn't dominate NES style again. I mean, who the in hell wouldn't want a PS4 that plays Nintendo's IP?
