Some good points there buddy, but i believe that Nintendo having 100% control of their IP, publishing rights etc and the creative freedom of their own hardware (which has mostly been profitable over the years) will always be more financially viable to them than just selling software on other devices. They have a very sustainable business model that even during tougher market climates (Wii U/3DS- Gamecube/GBA) they can still make money. Take Amiibo for example, they are set to make good revenue on those and that is all made possible by being tied in to their unique hardware and innovative controller. |
No argument from me there as I don't agree that they should go 3rd party. I was just wondering why you had brought profits up that's all. But I agree with what you said though!
