Welp, if hackers wanted Sony to lose a shit ton of money, they certainly done so! I wonder whats next

I really wouldn't be so sure that Sony isn't going to release this in some form (in fact I'm still not completely convinced that this isn't all a marketing hoax) basically after all this stuff that happened you could say that Sony is sitting on a goldmine with this movie, now they just have to release it digitally only and make a ton of cash with it.

Well, if all this was a marketing hoax, then why would they leak many "unreleased" movies to pirating sites? Cause thats a lot of money! And sure, they can release it digitally but the issue with digital releases is that its very easy to capture this movie when its released to the public then say going to the movies to watch it so imo, they will still lose money cause just cause they are releasing it digitally doesn't mean that everyone is going to buy it when they can pirate it with the release quality just as easily!

So its really hard for me to believe that this is a marketing hoax cause I feel like that with the movies that were leaked before and all the potencial sales lost cause it can be pirated quite easily once Sony releases it on psn or something, it really will cost them a lot of money. Imo, I think its an employee that is either pissed for maybe losing their job or an employee that accidently or intentionally wanted Sony to lose money!

It's more than likely not a marketing thing, but I'm still retaining a small amount skepticism since the whole thing's just so damn absurd.

We'll see what Sony does, I for one am pretty sure that the movie will be released in some form, if that makes up for the lost money might be doubtful but it remains to be seen. And if the whole thing's been leaked on the internet already anyway (which btw. would make all of this completely retarded, I thought the hackers didn't want people to see this movie?), then Sony might as well put it out officially and try to at least get some part of the pie.
