Besides the shadows, the pipes appear to have additional shading, and bloom has been added where the sun hits the white clouds.
Good to see that Nintendo took the time to enhance these levels instead of just recycling them.
You can really see their Wii U graphics improving, from NSMBU at launch, to Pikmin 3, to 3D World, to MK8, and now Captain Toad.
