So he bought it yesterday and it's already his GOTY? And the 2 people in the queue infront of him also just happened to be picking it up? 

It's the holidays and plenty of free time to play games for many...

How much time do you need with a game before saying it's your favorite of the year? Personally I can tell quite quickly after starting a game. 

No need to trust this guy though, just look at the software chart!

@kowen: He didn't say one after the other. Was probably a queue with quite a few people. 

Regarding the free version: They are. Probably not long now since everything is stable now and the weather is out.
