I don't need to remember anything. They need more Wii U sales globally. Putting a cut back version of 3DS has hampered the sales potential of the Wii U version. This is nothing but shooting themselves in the foot with regards to increasing their Wii U standing. They could very easily have released their portable version of the game next year and enjoyed the same sales overall, however with a bigger impact on their home console.

Ok but your talking about only WiiU userbase with a slightly better increase, thats all. 3DS version was announced and began development way before WiiU terrible release (in terms of sales). Pushing back SSB 3DS wouldn't have helped at all overall
