Maybe Nintendo doesn't want to churn out one of their most important releases of the year. Besides, if Nintendo had churned it out in a few months, it would have been released this year. Maybe even last year. That wouldn't have helped them with next year's lineup -- unless, of course, EAD 4 was expected to churn out another Mario game every few months! Then they'd be able to release up to four brand new Mario games in 2015! |
Every month that goes by without a major release in 2015 will just be a example of Nintendo being foolish. I can understand a game like Xenoblade Chronicles X or the new Zelda taking time, but Mario Maker and Mario Party 10 are simple, easy-to-produce games that should be ready for Q1. Those are easy stop-gap fillers, or would be if Nintendo grasped the damage that droughts cause.
