Uncharted 1-2 had a bigger leap though because the PS3 was a more exotic architecture that took a big toll on devs to properly utilize the CELL processor and those were the days of developers first getting the hang of HD graphics/shaders. So as expected there was a larger learning curve last gen.

I don't think you'll see that same kind of jump from Uncharted 4 to 5 (say) as the PS4 is a much more straight forward chipset.

It's not the real reason, the leap will always exist, it existed as much for 360 whereas it hadnt a complex architecture.

Games we will get in 2-3 years will be Uncharted 4 levels for a lot , and the next ND game will show a good jump too, they are only training on PS4 with this last Uncharted

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m
