All the wrong reasons? I guess being the cheaper console is now considered "the wrong reason" for selling well. Nevermind the fact that it's the main reason (along with all the negative press that M$ got from E3) why the PS4 had such a good launch and first year on the market. It certainly wasn't because of the games.. swap out a mere handful of exclusives here and there and the PS4/X1 have the exact same lineup, and this will continue into 2015...

PS4's top console exclusives for 2015 announced thus far: The Order 1886, Bloodborne, Ratchet & Clank Reboot, and Uncharted 4.

X1's top console exclusives for 2015 announced thus far: Quantum Break, Scalebound, Fable Legends, and Halo 5.

Seems to me like 2015 is going to be a pretty even year between the two consoles in terms of software. It's all going to come down to who's going to be the more aggressive with advertising... I'll bet any amount that both consoles will be $299 by this time next year. M$ is already willing to slash hardware prices and take a loss on hardware to move more consoles, and Sony won't be able to keep the PS4 at its original launch price for the another whole year.

All the wrong reasons was refering to a sudden boost in sales from previously discouraged consumers, so not the price as such but it's affect with the XBO that wouldn't happen with the PS4 if that makes more sense. When it comes to the stronger line up I was inclusing indies and stuff like no mans sky, rime etc that is harder to plug as something big, that and inferering that some of their AAA studios must be ready to release something next year. Bu just listing the top of the line up you can make anything look good.
