The American Psychological Association is way more reliable in a situation like this. Not to mention the recent goverment study that was done that lead to the same conclusion. Not to mention common sense. I mean seriously do people think so little of children that simply playing violent video games is going to make them violent. It's such a silly thing to think that are brains are that easy to manipulate. 


The study in your link was made with 118 teenagers over a short time frame. The study in my link was made with 3,034 children ages 8 to 17 over a three-year period. Statistically my study is the better one.

 Also this thread is about kids and not about teenagers.

And lastly history shows already that brains are easy enough to manipulate:

Hitler youth or somalian child soldiers just to name two (extreme) examples.


Will just have to agree to disagree your own study the scientist didn't even verify the level of violence in the games the kids jus told them. The whole study seemed lazy and phoned in.

Also of course you can manipulate the youth with real life events and parenting like that. I'm talking about manipulating kids with things they know are fake and aren't real. Your talking about hitler coming in and manipulating a starving and poor country that was desperate to blame anyone for all the trouble they were going through. Yes I agree that people in desperate situations like that can be manipulated.

You know the funniest thing about all these violence on TV/video game arguments? Violence on TV/video games keeps getting worse yet in the past 20 years gun violence has gone down

Yet people keep acting like it's the end of the world and want someone to blame. I can understand though people aren't used to having so much information being thrown at them from all over the world so violence seems like it's only going up.
